Gauteng members of the South African Police Services (SAPS) have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Carte Blanche producer and television personality, Johan Botha.
Botha and a friend were killed on June 7th 2017 when four armed suspects entered the Zebra Inn restaurant in Maboneng district and opened fire on them while undertaking an armed robbery.
Police arrested the suspects, two men and a woman, 6 days after the incident carrying their investigations as far as Kwazulu-Natal where the woman was picked up by KZN SAPS.
Botha was a household face in the 1990s and 2000s as he hosted popular SABC show 50/50. He later worked as a radio personality on RSG and as a producer on Carte Blanche.
He was 64.
