Four men were arrested for gang raping a 15-year-old girl in Emdeni in Soweto, Gauteng police said on Saturday.
Inspector Kay Makhubela said the men, aged 18, 19 and 20 took the girl to one of the men's houses on Friday night.
Once at the house they allegedly gang raped her before releasing her.
She went straight to police who then arrested the four.
The four would appear before the Protea Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of rape, Makhubela said.
In an unrelated incident a 30-year-old man was arrested for house robbery, attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm in Mofolo North in Soweto.
The man was assaulted by members of the community before being handed over to police.
The man was in hospital under police guard.
He would appear before the Protea Magistrate's Court once he recovers, Makhubela said.
