Soon-to-be president Jacob Zuma clearly had a lot of fans at the Ntolwane Primary School in his KwaZulu-Natal hometown where he cast his vote on Wednesday.

According to results released for the Nkandla voting station by the IEC on Friday, of 1051 votes cast, 846 of these went the ANC's way, garnering Zuma 80 percent of the vote.

The Inkatha Freedom Party got 178 votes, or 16. 9 percent.

At this voting station the United Democratic Movement and African People's Convention got two votes each, to the Democratic Alliance's one.

Like the one Zille-ite, the Movement Democratic Party also had one lone fan making his, or her, mark.
