Residents of Mogwase township in Rustenburg, North West province, on Saturday shared their frustrations with issues of housing and the impact of poverty, with ANC president Jacob Zuma, SABC radio news reported.

Zuma, who is on a two-day visit to Rustenburg braved the scorching heat by embarking on a door to door campaign to listen to residents' problems.

Among the people he visited was a 76-year-old man whose RDP house is still being built.

The ANC leader assured residents that the ANC was the only party that could effect change.

Zuma is expected to address a mass rally at the Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg on Sunday.
