Taxi operators went on strike in Johannesburg this week, protesting against the Bus Rapid Transit System, a new streamlined bus service that the government is introducing.
Taxi operators believe the BRT will steal business from them.
In a protest that turned violent, they have warned that they are prepared to "take on the government" if their calls are not heard.
