Why ANC members leaving
"); document.write("Puhl-e-e-ze Mr Phosa. ANC members are not leaving just because Mbeki was removed from office. They are leaving because the government has made a horrible corrupt mess of running this country, allowing Communist influence (which has been proven in practice not to work)and because the ANC has believed IT is the country and able to do whatever they wish, including filling their own pockets. We trust that a breakaway party, incorporating intelligent folk who contribute to SA's welfare, will do a better job.. gerald"); document.write("
ANC in a crisis
"); document.write("well said. shocked"); document.write("
ANC
"); document.write("nothing is the matter but the way it was done, the ANC behaving as if so the party is above the people ,above the country.
that is where the problem is. these in power at the ANC have not managed to evolve from liberation movement to a fully plaged political part.the likes of the Vavi's -Malema's are distroying all the little gredibility the ANC have ever had. Zuma inability to talk in one voice is a major problem. the only thing that might save the ANC is the retain Manthantle as prsident.. Daniel"); document.write("
'ANC Culture '
"); document.write("Phosa's statement (that people who believed they should be guarenteed positions do not understand the ANC culture) is absolutely laughable. I'm looking forward to hearing him explain this to the Vavis and Malemas of the world when they and their rabble-rousing supporters start demanding Cabinet posts and seats on the gravytrain.. S"); document.write("
ANC SPLIT
"); document.write("I believe the alleged split has mainly to do with an individual power struggle within the ANC. I do however submit that a split within the ANC will be in public interest in order to bring about a more balanced and contained government, which will have to make their every discision with great circumspection, public interest consideration and transparancy. A much stronger opposition, and less power to the ANC.. CONCERNED CITIZEN"); document.write("
Reality Check Mr. Phosa...
"); document.write("I wonder where Mr. Phosa obtained his information prompting his comment that \"There is consensus in the country that the process was handled with an even hand with due regard to the interests of the citizens.\" What we heard & saw was that many people were embarassed and upset by the fact that Mr. Mbeki was \"recalled\" at all, as it was unneccessary to shame him in this way since he only had 6 or 7 months left of his term prior to next elections. Mr. Mbeki may not have been an outstanding president, but he was fair, and didn't vacillate from one opinion to the next depending on who he was addressing (like Mr. J.Z. so often does). The ANC's cerdibility both here at home and internationally is at an all time low. I must agree that retaining Kgalema Mothlanthe as President at the next elections might be their only option to regain some credibility. Getting rid of morons like Julius Malema would certainly not do their image any harm either!!. Fiona"); document.write("
I trust the Arch
"); document.write("I don't particularly like Lekota - I've always found him to be arrogant and brash.
However one of his questions in his open letter was conveniently ignored by Radebe ie why no official condemnation by Zuma of Malema and Mntashe for the \"kill for Zuma \"and the \"counter revolutionery judges\" remarks.
The ANC has been hijacked by communists and lunatic left wing militant radicals .
If Archbishop Tutu can spit in the face of this new ANC then that's good enough for me !!. gavin"); document.write("
Wake up South Africa
"); document.write("The problem with you guy is that you are stuch in the past. Get with the programme. Lekota's time has come and gone. He must just find a job somewhere. This is MALEMA time, whether you like it or not. The million of South Africa, who do not have the luxury of the internet, will vote ANC,and Zuma will rule, and you will obey him. So stop stressing yourselves and embrace reality. The only votes Lekota will get are DA vote. To black people Lekota is a nobody. Bra Joe"); document.write("
A New Party
"); document.write("I was happy to see a former prisoner become President. Now JZ wants to be President when he proabably should a prisoner!! He has single handedly done what the Nats could not do - split the ANC. Of course the 'possible new party' should be formed in their own interests, the current ANC has an interest in their own culture (I refer to Mr. Phoza's own comments!)/ their own personal gain (often reported in the papers)/ their own diminished accountabilty (e.g. Eskom)/ BEE (which has seen the biggest emmigration figures since 1993/4 and all this sadly, does not look at strategy, economic growth, upliftment of ALL (not just a chosen few)

Yes Mr. Phoza, we concerned business people look forward to a new party based on business principles and with a view to growth, not history!!. Doug"); document.write("
