document.write("A few years ago I attended a property-agent event in Cape Town where the invited speaker was John Hlope. Not unexpectedly, he accused the property industry of racism in terms of the low number of practising black estate agents. However he then went on to ue this platform to blast the lack of appropriate black representation amongst the judges of South Africa's highest courts. This reduced him to the level of a politically motivated malcontent on the lines of Julias Maleme - and in my judgement started the process of dragging our whole judicial and constitutional process into disrepute and disrepair. An award in his favour of R1.00 is too much - the subtlety of this would be totally lost on this presumptious nonentity.. Adrian Barklie");

He should of been in jail for moonlighting years ago. 'He had verbal' (a judge nogal, relying on VERBAL) permission to moonlight. Ya right! document.write("I hate to break it John Hlophe, but he was associated \"with corruption, judicial indiscipline, scandals and lack of judgement and discernment\" long before the constitutional court judges ever opened their mouths on this issue.<br /><br />The man is an embarassment to our judicial system and to our country!  Any damage to his reputation is his own doing - as the saying goes \"if you can't do the time, don't do the crime\".<br /><br />If he doesn't want his reputation tarnished, he should avoid doing unscrupulous or downright illegal things - that might help Mr. Hlophe!(I refuse to refer to him as Judge since he doesn't deserve the title)..
