He remains the best international and economic strategist and has done very well to uplift the country since the inception of democracy. The short minded axing of him will leave a gap that his replacement will find hard to fill.. V Mcpherson");

People dont be blinded by these fools.. Phizar");
document.write("Mbeki to go?
");
document.write("Come on people! We all know that Mbeki is merely the tool through which the Oppenheimers are ruling the country. Look at his track record. Very little done to alleviate poverty. A clear bias towards corporatism. Mbeki will never go before the expiration of his term. He was installed there to do a job for the wealthy, and he has done it well, from their perspective. Zuma, on the other hand, favours the poor, or so he says. He has not been fully corrupted yet, even though the Arms deal was a great start. But his day will come, and the Oppenheimers are sure to remain where they are. In charge.. Johann");

document.write("Axing of our president will not solve the rot this country is facing. Politics is far more complex than we, the people on the ground get to understand. Axing a president shows the imaturity of our future leaders. With the likes of the militant Malema, (who never managed a matric,) what intilectual capacity does he have to even suggest axing of a president? Let Mbeki fullfil his term, the rot has been instilled even with him at the helm! The problem is more curbing the corruption of the leades of this cournty....Lisa. Lisa");

document.write("Judge Nicholson was quick to rule Political Tampering, and I for one don't disbelieve that this is partially true. But if the sudden rush to get Zuma into office through an accelerated election process isn't Political Tampering then I don't know what is.
Soon as Zuma gets into office he'll protect himself by putting in his own cronies in the NPA and voila, we have a scott-free president enjoying the millions he's made from bribery while the millions of his followers who turn a blind-eye to his actions continue to thrive in poverty while chanting \"My President, My President\".
I wish we had a true democracy, and not one where just being the lead of a party ensures your position as president. We're a dictatorship under the guise of democracy.. Mike");

I beg you my friends do'nt be fooled by our media. Anyway its only 5 months left to go for elections. All I need is pease in this contry. And remember my friends Mr Mbeki fired Mr Zuma without valid reasons or given Zums to explain his side of the story in court,I am totaly agree with judge there is something wrong with the present executive in the parlament.I think Mr Mbeki was wrongly advised by Terror Lekota
Than you. sifiso");
document.write("Mbeki
");
document.write("Sifiso, I don't think there are many people commenting on this page who would disagree with you that there's something wrong with the current executive. But you don't just fire a president. And especially not so that you can try and circumvent the law by trying to make it impossible to prosecute the likely next president, as Mike accurately pointed out above.
And lest we forget and needed to be reminded again: Judge Nicholson didn't say that the NPA doesn't have a case against Zuma - he said that the case wasn't put together properly (unlawfully). In other words, if the NPA were to put the case together properly, then they can procecute Zuma again. In OTHER words, there's enough evidence for a case, it just needs to be done right.
Bottomline: I think we all agree that change from Mbeki is necessary for this country. But the solution is not a corrupt president. That would be even worse than Mbeki. So if Zuma is innocent, then he should want to speed up the process to prove it, not try and have the procecusion against him dismissed. And moving to have Mbeki axed really smacks of that. GG");
