document.write("What was frightening was how, even after Niehaus had admitted to massive lies and corruption, the ANC held onto and protected him.  What about all the others like him with corruption and other scandals hanging over their heads?  Niehaus at least was an ANC employee and not a government minister, but in order to clean up the government and the civil service in general, the ANC needs to take a far less warm and cuddly line with all these guys. document.write("Carl must be the only ANC member/politician that I have EVER heard of, who resigned after a spot of dishonesty. <br /><br />He should be commended for accenting responsibility for his actions and is prepared to do the honourable thing and resign.<br /><br />This notion of honourablity has always be totally lacking in the ANC. <br /><br />They feel they are entitled to anything they desire, even if they have to steal it.
