document.write("The state of Zim today is the product of several years of misconduct by numerous role players, Mugabe might be the poster-child of the problem but he does not stand alone. The best chance at sorting this out is if SADC stands together and let's Zanu-PF know that they have to honour the power-sharing deal. The Rhodesian government only surrendered the war once the Apartheid South African government retracted support and crucially cut the only supply of oil into the country. If the Black African governments can't bring themselves to do the same for Zimbabweans who are arguably suffering even more under this government then what does that say about them?
To think that a foreign invading force will provide the answers is naive, even more so if it were a US or NATO led effort. Should it become clear that military intervention is the only answer then it needs to be a joint operation led by African countries and sponsored by the UN.
