Take a bit of money from them and they feel a sense of entitlement in how your national budget is spent and how your economic policies should be drawn up. <br />Lest we forget it is debt that sent Zimbabwe into their panicked downward spiral and Mugabe just happened to be at the throne at the time. The World Bank almost destroyed a number of countriesin Asia in the 1980s by their policy of diverting money from education and infrastructure into making your country a cheap date where those with money rule and their whims are prioritised over the needs of the people who actually live there!<br />.
