document.write("I know you shouldn't drive over the speed limit, and I'm not saying in any way that this is ok, but ...<br /><br />Sometimes you are going round a bend on the highway and these guys run out into the road to flag you down to pull over.<br /><br />You are oblivious to the fact that you just went through a speed trap, so all you see is some dude running into the road in the distance.<br /><br />This happened to me once and I almost ran the guy over because there was not enough time to stop once I realised I was being pulled over.<br /><br />Why do they do this? Is it for dramatic effect? You must have been driving dangerously if you come to a screeching halt and just miss the guy.<br /><br />Just send the fine in the mail and get it over with!. D");

I have seen the Johannesburg Metro Police pulling vehicles off the road with their brown/grey uniforms on. What makes them look different than any other people alongside the road?. Buck Mckenzie");

document.write("I am a biker, And I can tell you I saw an incident like this coming. Two months ago, the biker club I ride for where headed to Franshoek via Hellshoegte pass Stellenbosch. We are quite aware that there are often, road blocks on this piece on road and that speed limit is 100kph till the top of the hill then it reduces to 80kph as you enter the S bends. <br /><br />I was travel the speed limit as I had my fiancé on the back of the bike. Suddenly as I come over the blind rise there is officer PLOD in his reflective jacket. This jacket doesn’t help if you are standing in the middle on the road coming over a blind rise. Needless to say I dam near hit him, putting myself and my fiancés life in damage. And the more I am taking evasive action (while braking), to avoid hitting him the more this ####### is getting in my way.<br /><br />After almost taking myself and my fiancé out they proceeded to waste my time. They where not stopping people for speed, or even checking license, they had a look at my license and I didn’t even take my helmet off.<br /><br />As far as I understand it there is clear guideline when it comes to setting up speed traps and road blocks. If this traffic officer wants us to obey the law, they should try doing it first.<br />. ");
