Public sector doctors strike
");
document.write("If anyone has a cause to strike it is the doctors. They are some of the few who work hard for the people of SA and deserve to receive what was agreed upon. Compare what they get to our fat cat politicians and imagine what would happen if they had to wait for their annual increases. Of course there will be a chorus of \"they took the oath\" etc etc, but they have stuck to their service delivery for a long time. Based on dedication they are an example to the rest of the civil service and the unions.. Justified");
document.write("Are they really doctors?
");
document.write("What about your Hypocratic Oath? These new doctors are not REAL WORLD doctors, they are third world rated doctors. That's why they have to write an exam in the 1st world to be accepted. Why? Because the ANC has had the standard lowered so it's supporters can qualify. 30 years ago any doctor from SA could walk into a British hospital and be accepted, because our standards were 1st world.
We would never have dreamt of striking 30 years ago, and that goes for the Army as well. No how little you are paid, you made the choice now live with it.
You savages want to strike if granny gets sick.
As someone said, its first the roads then the health sector as the signs of collapse.
Have you seen one decently run country since the colonial powers have gone?
GO FIGURE.. Richard");

document.write("Unfortunately, the pay that these doctors receive is SO poor, that they do not have any choice in the matter. Even if what you say is correct, there is a point where they have to say enough is enough. Remember they did not strike at the drop of a hat, this has been building and they have been let down for years. They stuck to their task, government did not. (then again most of them probably voted for the govt too but that is a separate matter). AJ");
