One regularly sees this happening. Hey but don't worry...let's just screw the middle class some more why don't we? It seems the powers that be is hell bent on destroying the middle class. Maybe they feel the middle class was responsible for apartheid. Alwyn");

Agree with Vic, time to get past the psst and make a difference in the future! . CG");

document.write("@CG. Your opinion is appreciated. However, there is more than enough evidence that the government ####ed up with the management of electricity supply. Yes, let's make a difference in the future but to make this difference worthwhile, we must look at the problems of the past as well. One gets the feeling the government might hope for more reaction like yours so that they can willy-nilly f-up and we the PAYING public must ignore their mistakes. @Vic: Maybe Alwyn has not explained himself fully. I don't think he's suggesting a conspiracy theory, he's just fed-up with the mismanagement going on government circles and giving vent to his emotions. Allow him to do so. I personally believe there are motives and driving forces in the government that we may not be aware of. Just read Johnson's \"SA's Brave New World\" for an additional opinion. Things are not always what they seem. . jaycee");

document.write("An absolute scandal is how Eskom and it's shareholder, the ANC regime, have allowed foreign aluminium business to in effect plunder electricity from SA. These foreign companies bring raw aluminuium to SA, beneficiate it by way of smelting, and than ship it overseas again. In the process they use electricity which Eskom has given to them practically for free. It was made worse by contracts which Eskom apparently entered into with these companies, which linked the electricity charge to the price of aluminium. With alu prices down, Eskom loses even more, and it is believed that a significant portion of Eskom's recently announced losses stem from this.
Only in Africa, and later they blame everybody but themselves, for stealing and plundering their resources. kaddy");
