Black people are not brought up with a long-term view or focus. They are interested in the here & now only, how to get to a certain level of lifestyle instantly or as fast as possible(thanks to cheap & empty examples in media/advertising/comrades in government who seem to have all the luxuries in life(and more, when taxpayers money is taken/used/abused unauthorised), without dong much work for it. If the job gets too tough, they disappear for days on end and pitch out of the blue, expecting the employer to take them back without any questions asked...once again comrades in government lead this example passionately. While some of what he says may be true (to some extent!), it is a gross & unfair generalization to see all black people in this light. document.write("The most public overt racism in the country today comes almost entirely from ANC and its cohorts in the ANCYL & COSATU. If you ever disagree with their pronouncements, or in many cases, their diktats, then you are automatically accused of racism.
Transformation is essential & will be ongoing for a long time yet .. I would doubt the Government's capability to really judge the how well it is going by focusing on stats from just a few major companies, but that is just my opinion.
I really hate the way that the politicos abuse this type of information to paint us all the same, though. Institutionalized racism is a much abused term & was entirely created by politicians to serve their own limited, short-term objectives.
