If I mouse over the text and highlight it it shows up as blue on a white background and that is the only way I can read the articles. Is there something that can be done about this? document.write("Very big visual improvement over your previous design, well done! I like the wider layout. However on clicking around for a while, a couple of issues become apparent. Firstly the default font size of article copy is a point size too small, for readability-sake I would increase this.<br /><br />Your site is heavily reliant on JavaScript and no attempts have been made for functionality to degrade, for example the primary site navigation. Without JavaScript the site is completely useless as the navigation simply just doesn't appear. JavaScript should be used to enhance behaviour and functionality, not to create it. While this will not pose problems for most users, it's simply bad practice to assume that JavaScript is always available when a firewall might block suspicious scripts, for example. Please consider building accessible, non-JavaScript alternatives that support assistive technologies (such as screen readers) .<br /><br />Next, the textarea that I'm typing this comment in is way too tiny!<br /><br />And lastly, the colour of the comment text on this page is too light, I would add more contrast by darkening it slightly to again improve readability. document.write("Nice idea, but areas of the site are unusable due to the site seemingly being designed for Internet Explorer. Doesn't play well with firefox in that article text doesn't appear and possibly other problems too. Please review it with FF and make the necessary improvements or advise readers that it isn't compatible on the front page.<br /><br />Also doesn't play well with small screens where content is located off to the right of the visible screen area and there's no scroll bar with which to access it.. chris");
