The Young Communist League say \"The parole of this \"monstrous killer\" deserved to be condemned by all South Africans\" AND it was \"deeply disturbed and outraged\" by the release of Mark Scott-Crossley on parole.... BUT then it blows the whole thing by saying ... \"We respect the rule of law, but it is disgusting that there is a continued tendency or a systematic abortion of justice on matters related to the murder of black workers in the country.\" <br /><br />Well, I'm no supporter of Scott-Crossley BUT a. The \"rule of law\" [that the Communists say they support] found on appeal that he was an accessory to murder NOT a murderer? AND b. that the poor Mr Chisale was, in fact, murdered by fellow black people (as if race had anything to do with it!). I think it is rediculous how this case continues to be mis-reported with Scott-Crossley depicted as an EVIL WHITE FARMER (he was a building contractor) who single-handedly (there were actually 3 or 4 of them ?) beat a farm-worker (Chisale was a construction worker?)and then fed him alive to the lions ? It's as if this act of feeding a live human is somehow symbolic (of what, I'm not sure) and far more evil and cruel than any other method of murder currently enjoying popularity in this wonderful country of ours?. The guy threw an badly beaten human to lions - to meet his death.  surely 2 and 1/2 years in prison doesnt fit the crime (accessory or not). the fact that many people are murdered in this country does not justify the early release of this trash. document.write("the court of appeal found that he DIDN'T throw a badly beaten living human to the lions \"to meet his death\"- the Court found that he HELPED the (black) murderers dispose of the body of a DEAD person - hence 'accessory to murder' NOT murderer. He has served half is now on parole. <br /><br />He was not found guilty of murder and therefore any reference to him being a killer is erroneous. He is vilified by cr]certian segments of society simply because the body was that of a black man and he is white. That is racism plain and simple (but then again not many black people can accept that they are racist). I hope he sues all those who label him a killer - he was not found guilty of that offence. .
