A woman from Poland has taken an Egyptian hotel to court, insisting that her daughter fell pregnant through the use of their swimming pool, reports ananova.com.

The 13-year-old girl returned from a holiday in Egypt with a bun in the oven and the mother is sure the pool is the cause.

Magdalena Kwiatkowska is seeking compensation, insisting that the girl became 'knocked up' because of sperm present in the pool.

"The mother is adamant that her daughter didn't meet any boys while she was there and is determined to go ahead with the case," said one travel industry source.
