The Correctional Services Department says it is legally required to keep the health condition of convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius confidential.
Pistorius was discharged from hospital on Friday after spending a night for observation purposes.
It’s been reported that the former athlete was complaining about chest pain and shortness of breath when he was admitted as a patient.
The Department’s Logan Maistry says any information pertaining to the health of inmates can't be made public.
“The said inmate has been discharged from the hospital facility and is currently back at the Correctional centre where he’s been held.”
