Eskom's acting chairperson Zethembe Khoza has announced that CFO Anoj Singh has now been suspended following investigations into his conduct surrounding the Trillian payments.
Singh, who was placed on special leave at the end of July, has been described as a willing player in the Gupta’s game.
The Eskom CFO has been accused of syphoning billions in public funds straight into the pocket of the controversial family in exchange for a piece of the pie in various off-shore accounts.
Eskom, however, has yet to confirm or deny the suspension as it says it is still looking into these matters.
Two other executives have been suspended on suspicion of being linked to Singh’s operations.
