Power utility Eskom has announced that it 'rotated' its chief executive role, with Johnny Dladla out and Sean Maritz in.
Dladla occupied the role interim group chief executive since June 2017 and will now resume his role as the CEO of Eskom Rotek Industries.
Sean Maritz, Eskom CIO and group executive for information technology, has been appointed interim group chief executive, effective immediately.
The company states that in an effort to embed organisational stability, it is imperative that the role of Eskom’s group chief executive be permanently filled. The recruitment process will begin in due course.
