The man allegedly involved in a foiled hospital attack on suspected gang boss, Jerome Booysen, will make another appearance in court on Tuesday.
The suspect was arrested at the hospital for being in possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday.
Fifty-year-old Booysen was shot multiple times at Cape Town International Airport last week and has undergone several operations.
Thirty-nine-year-old Fabian Cupido has made his first appearance on a vehicle theft charge on Monday.
It's believed he was involved in a suspected hit on Booysen in hospital last week.
Reports stated a suspect masquerading as a woman tried to gain access to the ward where the suspected gang leader was being treated.
Booysen sustained four gunshot wounds in a hit at the airport.
It's understood he is making steady progress in hospital with a heavy security presence.
