Fire crews are battling two blazes near Barrydale and along the Robertson Pass.
More than 40 firefighters are trying to extinguish the vegetation fires near Goedgeloof and Ruitersbos.
The fires broke out on Wednesday.
The exact causes of the blazes are unknown at this stage.
Working on Fire's Lauren Howard says: “We urge community members to be more vigilant during this fire season and not to start fires unnecessarily on these hot days.”
Western Cape residents will have to practice extreme caution as the intense summer heat will be aggravated by the lack of moisture and water.
Fire and rescue services province-wide have urged people to make sure that they are familiarised with fire prevention and fire emergency protocols both at home and in their local towns.
