The National Prosecuting Authority will call 50 witnesses to show that Glenn Agliotti and business tycoon Brett Kebble's partner John Stratton were involved in his assisted suicide, IOL reported on Monday.
According to the website, the NPA had officially recognised that the mining magnate orchestrated his own murder, quoting from a witness list it had obtained. The murder trial has been moved to the Johannesburg High Court from the Regional Court. Agliotti stands accused of murdering Kebble in Johannesburg's northern suburbs in September 2005. He was shot several times behind the steering wheel of his car. The trial would be heard from 27 July to 30 July 2009. Agliotti's R500 000 bail was extended.
