Mpumalanga has all systems in place for the efficient running of matric examinations this year, the provincial education department said on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Jasper Zwane said all students who were registered for Grade 12 examinations would be able to write them. He called on all students to remain focused on their studies until 3 December, when the last paper would be written. Anyone experiencing problems or who had enquiries could call the department's toll free helpline on 0800-203-116. "The results will first be released to schools on the 30th December 2008 before they are released to the general public," Zwane said. "This is done to ensure that schools get adequate time to explain the content of the results to learners and their parents and to respond to questions."Sapa
