African National Congress president Jacob Zuma is in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga as part of the party's nationwide election tour, his spokesperson said on Saturday.

Brain Sokutu said Zuma was scheduled to have meetings with ANC provincial leaders and religious and traditional leaders at the Bushbuckridge Civic Centre.

Meanwhile, Zuma is expected to visit survivors of an accident that killed 23 people in Bushbuckridge on Tuesday.

The survivors were part of workers who were transported in a truck to Graskop when their truck collided with another on a misty and wet road in Bushbuckridge.

The survivors are recuperating at the Mapulaneng hospital Zuma is also expected to address a rally in the afternoon at Thulamashe Stadium, said Sokutu.

On Sunday, Zuma is scheduled to have meetings with white and Indian residents of the Nelspruit community.
