Traffic will be disrupted for 20 minutes on Tuesday afternoon so that rock blasting may take place at the Reading interchange, South of Johannesburg.
The metro police's Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said there would be rock blasting along the Reading interchange between 2.50pm and 3.10pm. The roads that will be affected are the R59 between Alberton and Johannesburg and the N12 between Germiston and The Glen. Motorists travelling North along the R59 are advised to use the old Vereeniging road. Voortrekker road and Klip Rivier drive could be used as alternative routes for the N12.
