Johannesburg police have called relatives of the people who died in an M1 accident to identify the bodies.
Inspector Moses Maphakela on Tuesday said four of the five bodies had not been identified. The single body was identified as that of 27-year-old Solly Nkomadi from Alexandra.
Maphakela called on the relatives of those who died to identify the bodies at the government mortuary.
Relatives could call Detective Inspector Koch of the Sandton police station on 083-281-3378 who would go with them to identify the bodies.
Siyabonga Miaka was allegedly travelling in the wrong direction on the M1 north on Sunday when he collided head-on with an oncoming car.
Five people died on the scene and five more were injured.
Miaka was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, reckless and negligent driving, driving under the influence of liquor and culpable homicide, said Maphakela.
Miaka appeared before the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
