A 26-year-old man was killed and his two brothers were wounded in a shooting incident at Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday.
Captain Mduduzi Godlwana said the man and his brothers, aged 27 and 21, argued with a 24-year-old man on the street at Kozo village over an unknown issue, on Tuesday around 6pm.
"He pulled out a gun, opened fire, killing the 26-year-old instantly. The 21-year-old was taken to Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital, Mthatha in a critical condition."
Godlwana said the 27-year-old was treated for three gun shot wounds at a local hospital and discharged.
A murder case and two attempted murder cases were opened by the police.
Godlwana said the alleged killer was still at large.
