A 28-year-old man was arrested in Alberton on Thursday for selling fake driver's licences, Ekurhuleni metro police said.
Spokesperson Jimmy Maboko said the man was arrested in Thokoza around 8pm after police received information about him.
"Earlier, two of his customers were found with his fake licences and we have been looking for him ever since.
"We believe that the man is not working alone, he might be part of a syndicate," said Maboko.
The man is expected to appear before the Alberton Magistrate's Court on Friday on a charge of fraud.
