
Some forty-seven new cases of cholera have been reported in Limpopo, the SABC said.
Thirty three infections were reported in Ga-Matlala, outside Polokwane and 14 were reported in Musina. In an interview with the broadcaster, the health department spokesperson, Phuti Seloba said over 1400 cases have been reported in the province since the outbreak was first recorded.
Limpopo's confirmed cholera death toll stands at nine, the SABC said.
In Zimbabwe itself, more than 30 000 people are infected with the deadly disease.
