Residents of Arms Street in Makwassie and Wolmaransstad's Maquassi Spruit in the North West are on high alert after they were warned of possible floods by the municipality.
"Residents are requested to calmly be on high alert. Nothing is serious at the moment," said Dr Kenneth Kaunda district municipality spokesperson Wendy Sokupha. She said the district disaster team would respond to any eventuality. For any emergencies, residents should contact 018 406 7000.
