Johannesburg High Court Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng finally convicted the remaining seven Jeppestown massacre accused on Friday.
He made the ruling shortly before 1pm on Friday, finding all seven men guilty of aggravated robbery, attempted murder and murder.
This brought to 11 the number of men convicted on these charges.
The twelfth man, Senzo Emmanuel Mweli, was only found guilty of aggravated robbery and attempted murder. The only female accused, Dineo Mary Maleke, was acquitted.
So far, Mokgoatlheng indicated that it was impossible for all the accused to have handled firearms on the morning of 25 June 2006 as there had been only nine firearms between 20 robbers.
Eight of the robbers were killed during a bloody shootout with police in a house in Jeppestown.
Only accused number three, Mzamo Nkosinathi Mchunu, had admitted to having handled a firearm. He however told the court that he dropped it when the shootout erupted.
"Nine firearms cannot be possessed by 20 people ... 11 of them were not armed," Mokgoatlheng said.
He was due to continue with his judgment after lunch.
