The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) will take oral representations from ANC president Jacob Zuma's lawyers on Friday, spokesperson Tlali Tlali said on Thursday.
This forms part of Zuma's overall legal strategy to overcome the corruption charges he and arms company Thint face. Zuma, the ruling party's presidential candidate in general elections scheduled for 22 April, is facing charges of fraud, corruption, money laundering and racketeering related to a multi-billion rand government arms deal. The representations, considered private by Zuma's lawyer Michael Hulley, are not part of the official court record.Sapa
