Photographers took pictures of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and President Kgalema Motlanthe ahead of their meeting expected to focus on aid for Zimbabwe in Cape Town.

The meeting, which got underway at 1.30pm, is to be followed by a media briefing at 3pm.

Other members of the new Zimbabwe unity government expected to be at the meeting are Finance Minister Tendai Biti and Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi.

Members of the South African Cabinet expected to attend are Foreign Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Finance Minister Trevor Manuel.
