A 50-year-old man was raped, allegedly by another man in Doti village in Dutywa, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
Spokesperson Captain Lingisile Magama said the man was allegedly attacked by two men who tied him to a tree on Friday around 9pm.
Magama said after the two left one of them came back and raped the 50-year-old.
"The man later managed to untie himself and went to the police station to report the incident."
A rape docket was opened and no arrests had been made yet.
