The bus drivers' strike that started on Friday morning leaving scores of commuters stranded in Johannesburg has ended.
Metrobus mananging director Herman van Laar said the strike that left commuters mostly in the south of Johannesburg without transport was as a result of "a small internal issue" that had since been resolved. The strike began at the Village Main depot, but did not spread to other branches. The drivers returned to work on Friday afternoon.
