An ATM was bombed at Kings Valley in Ga-Rankuwa but no money was taken, Gauteng police said on Sunday.

Captain Solly Marindi said it was believed the men entered the complex around 4am on Saturday.

The bomb went off but did not blow open the ATM which was only superficially damaged.

No one was injured, no shots were fired and no arrests were made.

A case of malicious damage to property was being investigated, said Marindi.
