African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema says that the choice of Mvume Dandala as the Congress of the People's presidential candidate shows that the party is not ready to govern.

Dandala was announced as Cope's campaign face earlier this week after reported in-fighting among the group?s leaders.

Malema said that this showed that the group?s leaders have skeletons in their cupboards.

"Just imagine when they are in government, they will eat each other alive because now there will be more opportunities at the level of government. They are not ready to govern," said Malema.
