The SABC has suspended its general manager for news resources, Rapitse Montsho, pending the outcome of an investigation, the SABC said on Friday.

This, following Thursday's suspension of the SABC's news international channel head Saul Pelle and the channel's news editor Montlenyane Diphoko.

"Due to the ongoing investigations, SABC management can unfortunately not reveal any further details at this stage," the broadcaster said in a statement.
