United Democratic Movement leader Bantu Holomisa has claimed he has not yet received a response from President Kgalema Motlanthe after he called for a commission to probe Schabir Shaik's parole.
Shaik was released earlier this month on medical parole.
Holomisa subsequently wrote a letter to the president urging him to launch a three-person commission into Shaik's release.
"Maybe he's busy campaigning. To him it's not a priority but one is not surprised because Motlanthe was appointed precisely to do the dirty work for the leaders who want to take over after him," said Holomisa.
