Four people, including a New Zealand tourist, died in an
accident on the R72 near Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape on
Sunday, the SABC reported.
An eyewitness saw a light vehicle overtaking a car driving in
the direction of Port Alfred.
The driver of the light vehicle apparently lost control, slid
sideways and collided with an oncoming Golf.
The two occupants of the light vehicle died on impact and a
third died in hospital. The tourist who was driving the Golf also
died at the scene.
Police were investigating a case of culpable homicide, SABC
reported.
