African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema has stepped in as mediator in a feud between two Chinese businessmen ? Mr Lam and Mr Lee ? based in Fordsburg.
Brett Kebble murder accused, Glen Agliotti, was arrested on Thursday and then released for allegedly intimidating one of the businessmen.
He handed himself over to the authorities at the Johannesburg Central Police Station on Thursday.
The case against him was later thrown out of the Johannesburg magistrate's court.
Meanwhile, Agliotti said he is concerned Johannesburg police seem to chase some cases, while apparently ignoring others.
"Upon my arrival there [Johannesburg Central Police Station], I was arrested for intimidation," said Agliotti.
"We just find it totally ridiculous and a lot of nonsense."
Lam, from Dragon City, has been established there for eight years, while Lee, from China Shop in the centre, has not been a retailer there for long.
Agliotti said he is worried about the police?s lack of action in four cases pending against Lee.
"Why do Lee's cases get pursued and not Lam's?" asked Agliotti.
Agliotti said he is considering taking legal action against Lee.
