Congress of the People youth members are preparing to demonstrate outside the National Prosecuting Authority's offices.

The NPA said it would not give a final decision on Friday whether it would drop the charges against the ANC leader but would announce the date it will reveal its decision.

Zuma made submissions to prosecutors, denying taking money corruptly from his former financial adviser Schabir Shaik in a bid to avoid a trial.

COPE's Mtcini Tshaku said around 120 COPE youth members would march on the NPA headquarters to hand over a memorandum.

"We are saying the NPA must not be pressured by the ruling party to drop the charges against Zuma," exclaimed Tshaku.
