Lawyers representing two Constitutional Court Judges have expressed anger that Judge John Hlophe has asked for another postponement at the Judicial Service Commission.

On Saturday, the JSC agreed to postpone the hearing into whether Hlophe interfered with cases relating to Jacob Zuma untill Tuesday morning.

A previous hearing, which was held on Wednesday, was also postponed because Hlophe fell ill with the flu.

The Constitutional Court?s Advocate was extremely frustrated with submissions from Judge John Hlophe?s lawyers: "We are once again being held to ransom. These threats are made and they are not followed through."

Commissioner George Bizos was also incensed and quizzed Hlophe?s lawyer, Brian Pincus, at some length: "Will we have your and his cooperation hence forth, that we will finish it during April?"

Pincus responded to Bizos saying: "You know that I will not trifle with committee."

It does appear that the JSC seems to be running out of patience.
