A 30-year-old woman handed herself to police after allegedly stabbing her former boyfriend to death in Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday.
The woman entered a local police station on Monday and admitted stabbing Sithembiso Makhubalo after an argument over maintenance payments, Superintendent Henry Budhram said.
The woman took police to the scene of the crime at the side of a road, where the 33-year-old's body was found. He had been stabbed in the chest.
The woman was arrested for murder and was due to appear in the Richmond Magistrate's Court soon.
