Six teenagers were taken to hospitals on Thursday afternoon after their school bus overturned in Midrand, paramedics said.
"It was a t-bone type of accident involving the school bus and a private vehicle shortly before 5pm and no one was seriously injured," said Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman.
He said the teenagers, aged between 14 and 16, were treated at the scene and taken to the Tembisa and Sunninghill hospitals with minor and moderate injuries.
All the children were in a stable condition.
The school bus driver and the driver of the private vehicle sustained minor injuries. Neither was taken to hospital.
