The case of the 15 SAA crew members detained after cocaine and dagga was allegedly found in their luggage earlier this year was postponed in London on Tuesday, the airline said.

"South African Airways can confirm that the London court appearance of crew members relating to a drug bust in January which was due to take place today, Tuesday 19 May, has been tentatively postponed to 15 July 2009," spokesperson Sarah Uys said by email.

A second group, linked to an incident in February, would have to appear in a London court on 11 June.

Uys said they had not been formally charged yet and did not appear in a court on Tuesday.

They were apprehended when 50kg of dagga and cocaine was allegedly found among their bags.
