Jabulani police on Monday asked the public to be on the lookout for a hijacked Ford Ranger bakkie with two people and a load of cosmetics.

Inspector Kay Makhubele said the cosmetics were being delivered to a house in Zola North around mid-morning on Sunday when two people emerged and, at gunpoint, forced the crew into the bakkie and drove off.

They stopped at the nearby Doornkop cemetery where they forced the crew out of the bakkie, and picked up another two people, before speeding off again.

Makhubele said anyone spotting the bakkie, registration PXK542GP, could call Jabulani police on 011 527 7000 or the police emergency number 10111.
