The Health Department confirmed on Tuesday that all the people infected with swine flu in the country were recovering well.

Thirty cases of the H1N1 virus have been confirmed in South Africa in the last month.

The rapid spread of the disease is believed to have occurred during a sports event in Johannesburg last week.

Eleven students taking part in the University Sports South Africa Tournament have been confirmed as carriers of the virus.

The department’s Fidel Radebe said all the cases were mild.

All of those people are actually doing really well because those are mild cases of H1N1 therefore there are no complications," said Radebe.
